Pancakes for Solar: Thank You. Happy young boy smiling at the camera.

Health for Haiti thanks the campus and surrounding community for supporting our “Pancakes for Solar” breakfast. We are so grateful to those who helped publicize our event, sold tickets, made monetary donations, made baskets for our raffle, and attended the breakfast. We had 101 people come to eat pancakes with us!

We are also thankful for the students and faculty who got up very early on a cold Sunday morning and helped put on the breakfast. Your hard work was so appreciated. We had help from students and faculty in Business Club, Dental Hygiene Club, Engineering Club, Biology Department, and the Physical Therapy Assistant program. This was our most successful fundraiser to date, and we could not have done it without you!

It was also amazing to hear from and see so many former Health for Haiti students. Thanks to everyone for helping families in Grande Saline, Haiti get one step closer to having sustainable access to clean, safe, water, more efficient cooking, and quality education. A message from Grande Saline: “Please share our appreciation and tell them that our community is thankful for their sacrifices. We appreciate this so much.

Thank you SUNY Broome community!
