Look for something positive in each day.

You may not be able to control what happens to you and around you, but you can control how you handle it. A little positivity goes a long way to improving your mood.

Think of the people in your life who are there to support you, there to make you laugh and there to help you when times are rough. Write a list of these people. Next to each persons’ name write three positives about them.

Look around in your environment- it is easy in these times to look at what is not going well, easy to find the negative. Write a list of what IS going well, what is the positive that you have surrounding you?

Now keep that list handy- look at it often.
