Beautiful things happen when you distance yourself from negativity

In a time when we are practicing social distancing – give distancing from negativity a try and see how it can improve your mental wellness.

The news is filled with stressful and negative stories. Social Media is filled with posts about the virus – how are we surviving the virus, what are we doing to homeschool our children and ourselves, how does life look while social distancing?

Although the memes may provide humor, they are flooding our minds with non-stop COVID 19- corona virus “talk”. Distance yourself from the news, social media, negative interaction. Limit your exposure. Get out into nature and take in a breath of fresh air- clear your mind. Go for a walk, go for a drive, get on that bike that has been hiding out in the back of the garage. A little time in the outdoors can hit the reset button on our thoughts.
