Chancellor Johnson is excited to announce the first ever SUNY Chancellor eSports Challenge powered by Extreme Networks. It is an eSports tournament open to all 64 SUNY schools designed to creatively involve students throughout this health crisis. Our additional goals include raising #SUNYTogether Student Emergency Funds and attracting some positive press attention. The competition is open to *all* schools across SUNY.

To get involved, contact Nigel Deakin at deakinnp@sunybroome.edu.

Chancellor Johnson has committed $10,000 and sponsor, Extreme Networks, has committed $10,000 – meaning that $20,000 in prizes are up for grabs. All prize money will be directed to the winning schools’ Student Emergency Fund. Participating students represent their respective colleges and Student Emergency Funds.

The tournament includes three games: Fortnite Duos, Super Smash Bros., & Rocket League 3v3. Schools are limited to *two* teams per game. Registration is live and continues throughout this week and the beginning of next week. The tournament begins next Wednesday, April 27 and lasts for three weeks. Please register as soon as possible
