SUNY Broome Athletics is proud to announce that Jennifer Petteys is joining the college as the new Head Coach of the softball team and a Student Success Coach.
Petteys is welcomed aboard to the Broome staff after a stint as Assistant Coach with the softball program at nearby Binghamton University.
Petteys brings 11 years of college softball coaching experience, having served as the Head Coach at York College, a Volunteer Assistant at NC State, an Assistant at UNC Wilmington, and most recently an Assistant at Binghamton.
Petteys remains York College’s all-time winningest coach with 153 career victories, including a 2017 season that netted 28 wins. Petteys is a member of the athletic Hall of Fame at her alma mater, St. John Fisher. She earned her master’s degree from the United States Sports Academy in 2015.
Petteys will also serve as a Student Success Coach in the Health Sciences division at the college.
