As part of the celebration of Engineering Week, on February 22, 2024, Robert Lofthouse, Chair of the Engineering Science and Physics Department, and nine Engineering Science students attended the Broome Area Chapter of NSPE-NY Engineering Week Dinner.
This annual event, hosted by the New York chapter of the National Society of Professional Engineers, featured guest speaker Jeff Smith, President of Tier Energy Network, who spoke on the Next Wave of Innovation in the Southern Tier.
Professor Lofthouse noted, “ The annual dinner is a great opportunity for our students to network with Binghamton University students as well as professional engineers from across the Southern Tier”
