Hornets are making their nest, professionally speaking, at BAE Systems. Out of 33 recent new hires in various manufacturing and test positions at the company, 19 are SUNY Broome students or recent graduates!
Team members from BAE Systems Operations came in for their second annual Spring On-Campus Recruitment Event on April 12. They conducted an information session during Common Hour to introduce students to BAE Systems, as well as discuss what makes an ideal job candidate. Then, they interviewed 26 of our Engineering Technologies and Engineering Science students in the Applied Learning & Career Center in the afternoon.
The event was orchestrated as a collaboration between faculty in those programs, BAE team members and the ALCC.
