SUNY Broome’s Inaugural Student Engagement Recognition Ceremony was held on Wednesday, April 26. These awards are to recognize SUNY Broome students for their efforts and hard work outside the classroom in the co-curricular life of the campus.

The Recognition of Service Award is given to student employees or volunteers in campus offices across the campus.
The winners are Franklin Araujo from EOP, Natalie Arias from The Math Lab, Brandy Banchs from the Nursing Program, Tyler Coy from Housing and Residential Life, Eirik Kunz from the Library, Alyssa Madramootoo from Housing and Residential Life, EOP, and Student Assembly, Jada Palmer from Housing and Residential Life and The Office of Public Safety, Monikia Saunders from Housing and Residential Life and The Office of Public Safety, Lakeisha Temu from Housing and Residential Life and The Office of Public Safety, and Keira Warwick from Athletics.
The SUNY Broome Club Advisor of the Year is Professor Erin Heard from the Ecology Club! This award is to recognize Club Advisors for their hard work and dedication to keeping clubs on campus running smoothly.
SUNY Broome Student Club of the Year Winner is The Business Club! This award is to honor clubs that have gone above and beyond in engaging students on the SUNY Broome Campus.
The Student-Athlete Academics Award is to honor students who’ve excelled in athletics and have earned over a 3.5 cumulative GPA while participating in their sports.
