Golfing weather is almost here to stay. There is NO BETTER way to get rid of the winter blues than by getting out and playing golf… and no better way to golf than being in the SUNY Broome Skorko Charity Open on Saturday May 15, 2021.
This four person scramble golf event, (aka Captain and Crew) will challenge the finest as they compete against other teams at Endwell Green Golf Club and Event Center.

The 1-Person Scramble is a 1 person team of “Me, Myself and I” however you can only attempt 2 shots per location where IF you hit the 2nd shot (to get a better spot than the 1st) you MUST take that 2nd shot. In others words, if you hit a shot that is pretty good, you may consider keeping the 1st and NOT hitting the 2nd. IF the 2nd is hit, the player MUST take that 2nd ball. From that spot you hit a ball and a decide if 2nd ball is needed.
Once on the green, putting is almost the same. If you make your 1st putt attempt! Congratulations! Write the score down! If you miss, well then, you have the 2nd ball and play. The ball must be putted in the hole (no Gimmies) and even IF the 2nd putt attempt was missed and ended up farther away, the putter can pick the easiest ball and putt it IN. SO, even if the 2nd was worse than the 1st, any putt/ball can be used to putt into the hole.
