The SUNY Broome Physical Therapist Assistant students and faculty were instrumental in bringing home the 2018 Golden Goniometer Award to the Southern Tier District of the New York American Physical Therapy Association.

The Golden Goniometer is given to the district that demonstrates the greatest amount of physical therapy-related public awareness activities in the months of September and October (PT Month). The SUNY Broome PTA students’ participation in the PT Day of Service on Oct. 12 and the Healthy Habits Fair at Calvin Coolidge Elementary School this fall were key health and wellness activities that lead to the Southern Tier District’s receipt of the Golden Goniometer Award.

The Award will be presented to the Southern Tier District at the 2019 Delegate Assembly held in Albany this April. Please join us in congratulating them and the Southern Tier District in earning this coveted award.

Congratulations!
