Project Lead, Danielle Britton – This grant supports workforce development training for employees at Dick’s Sporting Goods Distribution, with Dick’s to contribute a minimum of 10% of the total project cost as cash match.

Project Lead- Danielle Britton – This grant supports workforce development training for employees at iA Manufacturing, with iA to contribute a minimum of 10% of the total project cost as cash match.

$17,300.00- The BCC Foundation Business Program Initiative
Project Lead- Gian Roma- This restricted grant was awarded to fund capital equipment improvements for the Business Department classrooms including an eGlass installation project.

$350.00- The BCC Foundation EOP Summer 2022
Project Lead- Venessa Rodriguez- This award of $350 is to be used to help defray expenses associated with the EOP Summer Academy 2022.

$10,000.00- Lumina Foundation Strategic Enrollment Management
Project Lead- Dr. Penny Kelly- Funds are intended to create/update the college’s strategic enrollment management (SEM) plan with a focus on adult learners.

$12,482.00- SUNY Workforce Development Amphenol Training
Project Lead- Danielle Britton- This grant supports workforce development training for employees at Amphenol, with Amphenol to contribute a minimum of 10% of the total project cost as cash match.

$611,297.00- Federal Perkins V (CTEA) funds
Perkins Grant Officer- Shelli Reals- Funding supports personnel and non- personnel costs in accordance with the needs identified and strategies set forth in the college’s Perkins Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment.

$81,331.00- NYSERDA Onsite Energy Manager
Project Lead- Dave Ligeikis- NYSERDA shall reimburse SUNY Broome to hire an On-Site Energy Manager for an
engagement period of 20 hours per week over a cost-shared 24 months to address site-specific energy
reduction targets, including the initiation and development of an energy management plan that is updated
throughout the engagement and works towards meeting those energy reduction targets.

$140,226.00- Federal College Work Study Allocation Incentive Payment
Project Lead- Laura Hodel- This needs based financial aid program provided employment opportunities to students on campus, allowing them to minimize their use of loans to fund the educational expenses.

$10,500.00- SUNY- NYSED Student with Disabilities for Postsecondary Success
Project Lead- Lisa Hughes- Funds provide staff with disability training and will supplement existing supports and accommodations for student with disabilities.

$14,149.00- SUNY Workforce Development Southern Tier Restaurants, Inc.
Project Lead- Danielle Britton- This grant funding supports workforce development training for employees of companies that are members of the Southern Tier Independent Restaurants, Inc. (STIR), with STIR to contribute a minimum of 25% of the total project cost as cash match.

$14,300.00- SUNY AM 155.29 Pre- Apprenticeship Related Instruction
Project Lead- Danielle Britton- This grant award funds pre-apprenticeship related instruction through a $7.9 million grant from the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, administered by The Research Foundation for the State University of New York.

$76,695.00- Binghamton Local Development Corporation Entrepreneurial Assistance Center Grant
Project Lead- Danielle Britton- Funds maintain a center to provide community-based management and technical assistance to clients seeking to establish and grow their own business with the operating region of Binghamton.

$124,976.00- SUNY High Needs Localities Fund
Project Lead- Kim McLain- Support the conversion of the college’s Chemical Dependency Counseling programs for face-to-face to Hyflex, providing a choice for students to attend in one of the three modalities: face-to-face, asynchronous, or synchronous. This will promote enrollment and success for adult learners and eliminate barriers for all students.

$1,256,262.00- US Dept. of Education Broome CC Supplemental Support under the American Rescue Plan
Project Lead- Laura Hodel- Funds will be used for eligible institutional cost to defray expenses associated with the coronavirus, and to make additional emergency financial aid grants to students.

$5,467.00- SUNY Workforce Development Greater Binghamton Education Outreach Program
Project Lead- Danielle Britton- This grant funding supports workforce development training for employees of the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce’s Greater Binghamton Education Outreach Program (GBEOP), with GBEOP to contribute a minimum of 10% of the total project cost as cash match.

$199,969.31- SUNY WD STEM Industry Pathways Award
Project Lead- Danielle Britton- Funds support development of a Credit for Prior Learning review process for non-credit offerings and industry credentials, clarifying pathways within the related degree programs, and creating industry relevant non-credit and credit micro-credentials that a student can achieve on the path to a certificate or degree program.
