
The SUNY Broome Foundation Sunshine Fund for Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration Grant is designed to stimulate and encourage faculty from different academic areas to collaborate in developing innovative approaches to their curricula, strengthening its relevance and applicability across disciplines.
The award is in memory of Harold Sunshine, who served as a former professor at SUNY Broome for 30 years and was instrumental in the College’s hockey program.
For funding consideration, please review the information on the Sunshine Fund for Cross- Disciplinary Collaboration Grant on the Professional Development webpage. The page contains the required forms that must be used for full consideration of your grant request. Any funding approved for this one-time opportunity will need to be spent by June 30, 2026. Priority consideration will be given to new projects and to those who have not been previously awarded a Sunshine Grant.
