SUNY Broome is pleased to announce the creation of our newest 2+2 Business Administration articulation agreement with Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business.

Students now have the opportunity to complete the first two years of their Business Administration: A.S. degree at SUNY Broome and then seamlessly transfer to the Zicklin School of Business, with full junior-level status, to complete a bachelor’s degree in the same discipline. Baruch’s Zicklin School of Business is consistently ranked among the best business schools in the country, combining its premier business curriculum with leveraging its connections to more than 170,000 business alumni worldwide.

President Tony D. Hawkins, Dr. Penny Kelly, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Professor Gian Roma, Chairperson of Business Programs, traveled to Manhattan on March 13, 2025, to celebrate this landmark agreement with Baruch College’s leadership team.

“One of the things we’re most proud of at SUNY Broome is our faculty’s commitment to helping students find success and achieve their academic and career goals, even after they graduate,” shared President Hawkins. “This transfer partnership is one of our most exciting to date, as prospective students can now complete our Business Administration program — even completely online if they prefer — and transfer seamlessly to one of the finest business programs in the country.”

SUNY Broome’s enthusiasm for this unique partnership is equally mirrored at Baruch College. The administrators, faculty, and staff at the College’s Zicklin School of Business are poised to welcome SUNY Broome students and are excited to continue collaborating in the future.

“This exciting initiative exemplifies how CUNY and SUNY institutions can collaborate to expand educational opportunity through innovative, student-centered pathways,” said Dr. S. David Wu, President of Baruch College.

This official articulation agreement with Baruch College is an exciting addition to SUNY Broome’s eight existing business administration articulated transfer paths. Thanks to the business administration degree’s flexible format, students can complete their courses in person, via a Hyflex format, or fully online. This allows students from across the state (and nation) to affordably take advantage of the transfer pathways that begin at SUNY Broome.
