Dr. Tim Skinner and Professor Chris Keaty from the SUNY Broome Communications & Media Arts department attended the first ever SUNY Institute for Local News Summit on April 11th. The summit brought together SUNY college faculty and students to discuss ways to support local news initiatives.
The summit is through the SUNY Institute for Local News which is a statewide program aimed to help build up community news through student reporting.
