If you are a New York State Resident and owe a Residency Certificate for the Spring 21 semester, the affidavit/certificate must be obtained by February 23, 2021 and submitted to SUNY Broome’s Student Accounts Office by Monday, March 1, 2021
You may also submit your Certificate online through the mycollege portal: Go to the Student tab and Select Student Account then select “Submit your Certificate of Residency”
The Certificate of Residency is the only way to prove your NYS residency, be charged in state tuition, and have the non-resident tuition charge removed ($2544 a semester for full time students) from your account.

Affidavits of residency are valid for one calendar year. A new one must be obtained each year.
