The Gallery at SUNY Broome

We are looking for submissions of text, stories, objects, photographs (digital is fine), music, textiles, etc. to include in a campus exhibit highlighting the diversity of culture in the Middle East and North African regions. We are particularly looking for how this region is represented or touched the lives of the SUNY Broome community.

The exhibition, opening March 14 in The Gallery @SUNY Broome, will be called “Life’s Mosaic: Art, Diversity, and Culture of the Middle East and Beyond.”

If you wish to write about your personal journey, there is a 500-word limit. Please include a short (200-word max) description or caption to go with your photo or object submissions. We would be happy to help you with those.

Please contact us to express your interest by March 7. All submissions of objects and text are due by March 11. Drop off objects on March 11 at NSC 215 between 10-3, or by appointment.

Please contact Lynda Carroll (carrollla1@sunybroome.edu) and Antonia Stamos (stamosa@sunybroome.edu) for further information, or to express interest.
