Due to the effects of COVID-19 and the Commencement Ceremony being moved back to July 25th, the graduation committee has extended the deadline for students to submit their applications. Please submit your application no later than June 26th at 5pm.
Each year, one student is selected to speak at SUNY Broome’s Commencement ceremony. This student must be eligible to participate in the ceremony and planning to participate.
A committee will review the applications and select from the pool of nominees. Any faculty or staff member looking to encourage students to apply are welcome to do so by directing the student to the form; however, all applications must come directly from the student.
