Join the Gallery at SUNY Broome for Student Life, work from Professor Zeggert’s Art 225 Illustration and Art 116 classes, on view through the month of September, with a formal reception held Thursday, September 10, 2026 from 5 – 7 p.m. in the Cecil C. Tyrrell Library.
Student Life presents a collection of work by Students in Art 225 Illustration and Art 116 Painting, developed through a thematic, narrative-based assignment exploring SUNY Broome campus life from the student perspective.
David Zeggert is a Professor of Art at SUNY Broome Community College, where he has spent nearly two decades teaching and mentoring students in drawing, painting and illustration. His practice bridges fine art and illustration. At SUNY Broome, he guides students in developing both technical skill and a personal approach to image-making.
