
The Student Emergency Fund application will be open to all current SUNY Broome students on February 23, 2026.

To be eligible, a student must be:
- Currently pursuing a degree program at SUNY Broome Community College
- A U.S. citizen, permanent resident or have Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status
- Currently enrolled in at least 6 semester hours
- Able to provide documentation of the financial emergency
A student who meets the eligibility criteria must complete an online application. Clear documentation with the student’s full name and a recent date of the financial need must be submitted with the application.
This program is designed to assist in situations where the emergency may impede academic progress.
