Daniela Doller, an Art 116—Painting student and Professor Zeggert are displaying work as part of The inaugural 2022 SUNY Art-tech Exhibition titled Translation, hosted by the SUNY Polytechnic Institute Gannett Gallery on the Utica campus. The exhibition features physical and virtual pieces, as well as installations.

Doller’s work represents two focal points that illustrate or “translate” music into colors, shapes, rhythm, and paint applications. Zeggert’s work explores the tools of the trade that assist in translating and creating form into a painted statement.

Zeggert noted, “I’m thrilled that Daniela and I are in the same show and equally important she created this thoughtful work in addition to her classwork!

The exhibition dates are April 11 through June 1, 2022.
