Purpose: This program provides funding to SUNY community colleges to operate workforce development/job training programs that address training needs for employers in local communities. Each award is comprised of SUNY grant funds and a required employer cost share amount.

Purpose: This grant-funded program focuses on engaging small, medium, and large employers in NY to secure paid Registered Apprenticeships in high-skilled, high-demand, competitive wage occupations.

Purpose: Funds support the on-campus review seminar for Radiologic Technology students provided by Kettering Seminars in Spring of 2026.

Purpose: Funds support modernization of an Engineering laboratory in the college’s Applied Technology building to enable STEM students to have fuller skill development and modern learning experiences.

Purpose: The SUNY Broome Foundation will reimburse the college for LYLAS club members to travel to Washington, D.C. during spring break 2026, accompanied by Briana Alford, the LYLAS club advisor.
Title: SUNY Coach America Counselor Bus Trip

Purpose: SUNY System reimbursed the college for the 4/22/26 SUNY Counselor bus trip, the college agreed to take on the planning role and secure the charter bus (Coach America).

Purpose: Funds support a Year 2 extension of a SUNY initiative to advance nursing licensure programs systemwide to adopt simulation-based education by elevating select SUNY members to the forefront of understanding and experience in this field.

Purpose: Funds provide professional training workshops to faculty and staff. Faculty will be required to complete an internally created training program with a local certification. Proficient faculty members (fellows) will receive extra service pay for assistance to the Instructional designers to assist in remediation instruction for digital teaching materials.
Title: “Kid Zone” SUNY Childcare Expansion Initiative Grant

Purpose: Funds support creation of a “Kid Zone” in a renovated space within The Commons, the Student Union of campus, where student parents will be able to drop their kids off in a safe and supervised environment while they attend to the business of college life. The funds are intended to expand access to high-quality child care, with a focus on evening and weekend care and in alignment with SUNY Reconnect.

Purpose: Funds supplement existing supports and accommodations for students with disabilities to expand such supports and services provided at SUNY.

Purpose: The three year subaward covers extra service to campus lead and/or co-instructor, AI & Society programming activities (e.g. workshops, seminars, guest lectures), and travel to summer AI Symposium.
