In an effort to encourage scholarship regarding women’s history and culture, the Spring 2019 Women’s History and Culture Film Institute has been established by the student leaders and faculty adviser of the Women’s Discussion Group at SUNY Broome. Click the following brochure for details.

Scheduled discussions include:

  • Roxanne Gay’s book Hunger, which discusses her lived experience with sexual trauma and eating disorders, at 11 a.m. April 4 in T-102
  • How to deal with difficult people at work from the perspective of Aggretsuko, an anthropomorphic red panda who works in the accounting department of a Japanese trading firm, at 11 a.m. May 2 in T-102
  • Leaders Eat Last, a discussion of leaders who earn loyalty through sacrifice and hard work, at 11 a.m. May 9 in T-102
