Hello Campus Community!

Based on a recent assessment of our Shared Governance structure and recommendations from our Middle States visit, we are working towards evaluating the structure of our Shared Governance system.

Through College Assembly, a motion and vote to establish a work group was made on October 18, 2021. This work group will focus on a recommendation regarding the restructure of the College’s shared governance bodies to promote transparency, efficiency and ensure the mission of shared governance is being met.

This work group will be composed of the following representatives:

  • Liberal Arts Representative currently involved in Shared Governance
  • Liberal Arts Representative not currently involved in Shared Governance
  • BPS Representative currently involved in Shared Governance
  • BPS Representative not currently involved in Shared Governance
  • STEM Representative currently involved in Shared Governance
  • STEM Representative not currently involved in Shared Governance
  • Health Sciences Representative currently involved in Shared Governance
  • Health Sciences Representative not currently involved in Shared Governance
  • Student Representative currently involved in Student Assembly
  • Student Representative not currently involved in Student Assembly
  • Academic Services Representative (can currently be involved with Shared Governance or not involved)
  • Student Life Representative (can currently be involved with Shared Governance or not involved)
  • Processing Offices Representative (can currently be involved with Shared Governance or not involved)
  • College Assembly Chair
  • Council for Operational Issues Chair
  • Council for Academic Issues Chair
  • Institutional Effectiveness Dean
