You are invited to attend a very special retirement dinner and roast for Dr. Francis Battisti from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Binghamton Country Club, located at 1401 Robinson Hill Road in Endicott.

After 50 years at the college, Executive Vice President and Chief Academic Officer Dr. Francis Battisti is celebrating his time at SUNY Broome and entering the next chapter of his life and career.

A proud SUNY Broome alumnus, Francis was among the first counselors hired at the college. He rose to director, academic dean, and then professor, teaching psychology and mentoring generations of students before joining the administration. He has worked for every president in the college’s history, and his contributions have made an indelible impact on SUNY Broome.

In honor of Francis’ long-standing commitment to the college, we are collecting donations to develop an outdoor pergola on campus, where students and faculty can gather for conversation and connection.

To register for the dinner event or sponsor a table, please call (607) 778-5082. The cost will be $50 per person. Seating is limited, so register soon! Please be sure to mention any dietary restrictions.

Please register for the dinner by Oct. 3.
