TOWN OF DICKINSON, NY — The 11th annual Southern Tier Robotics Competition was held yesterday, April 5, 2022 at SUNY Broome Community College. The event is a partnership between the SUNY Broome Engineering Science & Physics Department and Broome-Tioga BOCES, and is sponsored by the STEM Hub. The SUNY Broome Engineering Science & Physics Department created the competition in 2010.

Over 150 students from 12 area middle and high schools gathered in the Applied Technology Building to showcase their ingenuity and talent in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) while building and designing robots.

  • Autonomous Task Challenge –  New Visions

  • Autonomous Line-Following Challenge – Owego

  • Maze Programming Challenge – Owego

  • Forklift Challenge –  Owego

  • Grand Champion –  Owego
