Mackenzie Struble (Owego, NY) received the Region III Athlete of the Week
Mackenzie Struble (Owego, NY) received the Region III Athlete of the Week honors for her efforts in the NJCAA North B District Championships played at Niagara County CC over the weekend.
Struble helped the Hornets capture the North B District title at the 2021 Regional Championship Tournament. Broome went 4-0, sweeping all three matches in Saturday’s Pool Play before winning the championship with a 3-0 win over Erie CCin the finals. She average 10.5 assists and 1.2 service aces per set in the tournament. Mackenzie is listed 5th in the nation for assists/set, and remains on the national leader board for service aces/set
