Hello, and welcome to Season 2, Episode 4 of your favorite weekly summary of the goings-on in the Admissions Office, Recruitment Roundup.
Another busy week for the Admissions Office here at SUNY Broome! In addition to all of the preparation work we are doing for our upcoming Fall 2023 competitive admissions review, this week we were fortunate to welcome three different groups to campus.
On Tuesday, February 14th, thirty-three students from the Bronx’s Longwood Preparatory Academy visited campus to tour the grounds and learn more about what SUNY Broome has to offer, and on Friday, February 17th, thirty students from Binghamton University’s Upward Bound program did the same. Last but certainly not least, on Thursday, February 16th, our admissions staff welcomed a group of fifteen individuals from the ACHIEVE New York program to tour different career preparation programs on campus in order to broaden their horizons for future job shadowing opportunities. We’re so glad to be such a popular group visit destination for learners both locally and statewide, and we’ve got plenty more visitors scheduled to come to campus throughout the spring semester! A huge thank you to everyone across campus who joined us in making these group visits special, especially American Dining Creations, whose constant support and incredible flexibility have been integral to our success.
Would you like to speak to Admissions regarding your program or department? We would love to connect with you! Each Wednesday, we are hosting “Information Wednesdays” in the Wales Office, where campus partners are invited to speak with the department so that we can learn more about your program, any upcoming events, highlights, and partnership opportunities.
If you are interested, you can sign up online at SUNY Broome Information Wednesdays.
