April’s library white board question, “Recommend a book for a rainy day,” garnered an impressive 47 suggestions. These include a lot of classics and some science fiction and fantasy in a very diverse selection. It should be noted that while the SUNY Broome library primarily collects books related to the curriculum, we do have some leisure reading titles, and online access to OverDrive eBooks, so one-third of the recommended titles are available through the library’s catalog. SUNY Broome librarians will consider purchasing other titles on the list. And speaking of books, any ones that you borrowed are due by the end of the semester.
