You’re invited to the annual motorsports show, formerly called Southern Tier Speedworld, now the Racers for Charity Motorsports Expo on March 6th – 8th at the Oakdale Mall.  The Racers for Charity Motorsports Expo raises money for local charities while showcasing the race tracks, race teams, and supporting sponsors that compete in Broome and surrounding counties.

This year, Professor Gary DiGiacomo and some of his students will be displaying SUNY Broome’s 2019 Green Grand Prix winning electrical car in the center court of the mall. The Expo will also feature artwork from world-renowned auto racing artist Robert Gillespie.

Additionally, retired SUNY Broome Professor Elliot Reitz’s 1929 Ford Model B will be on display. Reitz’s Model B, sponsored in part by SUNY Broome alumni, competed in The Great Race, a race from Canada to Mexico.
