Amber Neumuth will represent the women’s cross country team in the Mid-State Athletic Conference Championship on Saturday.
The conference championship meet is hosted by Finger Lakes CC.
Neumuth will be running in familiar territory, as Finger Lakes CC is the home of the Bruce Bridgeman Invitational, which the Hornets competed in during the regular season.
At the Bridgeman invite, Neumuth ran a 36:28.7 5K. Since that meet, she has considerably improved her time in the two most recent contests. Neumuth ran a 40:37.1 6K at SUNY Poly, which is equivalent to a 33.28 5K, and most recently she ran a 31:49.20 5K at SUNY Delhi.
Neumuth will enter the 2024 Mid-State Athletic Conference Championship meet coming off her best 5K performance of the season. Good luck Amber!
