Conner Smith had first place finishes in both the 5,000 meter and 3,00 meter steeplechase.
Broome came in at the fourth spot in their inaugural season at the 2022 Region III Track & Field Championships hosted by Herkimer College the past two weekends. Broome (70) finished behind Finger Lakes CC with 207 points, Hudson Valley CC (191) and Mohawk Valley CC (77), and ahead of Onondaga CC (46) and Herkimer College (35).
Conner Smith, the freshman from Vestal, had first place finishes in both the 5,000 meter and 3,00 meter steeplechase. Robert Romeo placed third in the 110 meter hurdles and Eric DeHart also had a third place finish in the 1,500 meters.
