SUNY Broome Medical Assisting Seniors participated in the Tioga/Broome County Health Department Drill on Monday, March 6. Medical Assisting students were an integral part of a health care team, providing patient intake using the Health Commerce System.

The mock drill centered around an influenza A virus with a pandemic potential. The drill helps to prepare and accelerate the implementation of effective public health responses.
