SUNY Broome is proud to congratulate Matt Ebbers (MUSS ’15) on being named the 2026 Entrepreneur of the Year by the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce.

The award was presented during the Chamber’s annual dinner held at the DoubleTree by Hilton, where local business leaders, community partners, and supporters gathered to celebrate outstanding achievements across the Greater Binghamton region. Ebbers was recognized at the Chamber’s annual awards dinner for his outstanding work through M.E. Creativeworks and his creative contributions to our community. Several SUNY Broome colleagues were in attendance to recognize the accomplishments of the region’s business leaders.

In addition to his role as Staff Associate for Video & Photography within SUNY Broome’s Office of Marketing & Communications, Ebbers is the owner of M.E. Creativeworks, a local business specializing in photography, video production, and creative content development. Through this work, he collaborates with agencies, entrepreneurs, musicians, institutions, and organizations to bring their stories and visions to life through compelling visual media. Ebbers takes great pride in his status as a SUNY Broome alumnus, and is generous in sharing his expertise by mentoring student assistants and interns on campus.
