Crouse Hospital has been caring for generations of Central New Yorkers since 1887. Our mission is to provide the best in patient care and promote community health. Crouse is licensed for 506 acute-care adult beds and 57 bassinets, and serves more than 22,000 inpatients, 60,000 emergency services visits and more than 800,000 outpatients a year from a 14-county area in Central New York.

Crouse operates the Pomeroy College of Nursing, providing critical nursing education to more than 350 students annually. Many of the 4,400 employees are represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU1199).

Crouse is accredited by DNV Healthcare (Det Norske Veritas) and is a member of the American Hospital Association, Healthcare Association of New York State, Greater New York State Hospital Association, the Association for Community Health Improvement and the CenterState Corporation for Economic Opportunity, among others.
