Our required Annual Employee Training for the calendar year of 2022 is still available on Blackboard open to all SUNY Broome employees.

Everyone employed on the campus of SUNY Broome or at off site SUNY Broome location must complete Title IX/Sexual Harassment, Workplace Violence Prevention, and Hazmat(Right to Know) Training. Campus Security Authority (C.S.A/Clery Act) Training is mandatory for any club advisors, athletics/coaching staff, housing staff and student activities staff. (Others may take the training if they choose)
To access the trainings, you must log into Blackboard (can be accessed through the mycollege portal) . Once logged in you should see a link to “2022 Annual Trainings” on the right-hand side of the screen.
The trainings that are currently available will appear in the labeled folder “Trainings For All Employees”. Each training course will have a quiz at the end of it. You must complete the quiz to get credit for attending the course. You will also receive a badge for each course that you complete by scoring 100% on the quiz and you will be in compliance for the Annual Employee Training requirement for the calendar year.
In-person trainings will be offered again during the fall semester for those who would rather attend a live training.
