SUNY Bro0ome Giving Day #Broome24

SUNY Broome and the Broome Community College Foundation will celebrate the fifth annual 24 Hours of Giving on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019. Also known as Giving Tuesday, it is a nationally recognized day of giving back to your community by volunteering your time or donating to local organizations. We challenge our alumni, community friends, students, faculty and local businesses to support SUNY Broome and make their gift today!

Last year, we exceeded our goal and we ask for the community’s help in reaching this year’s goal of $75,000 from 350 donors! Gifts to the BCC Foundation help keep SUNY Broome a place where students receive both a high quality education and real world experience.

We believe our students are a worthwhile investment, and the future of the college and our community depends on their success. We are proud to offer more scholarships every year because of our generous donors, as the cost of going to college continues to increase. Many of our students cannot attend school without the support of scholarships!

We have already received challenge gifts totaling close to $40,000, which has been pledged by our Foundation Board of Directors, the SUNY Broome Board of Trustees, alumni and community friends.

Look for us on social media, email and our dedicated webpage for updates throughout the day and to see all of the excitement here on campus!

This is a momentous day for the SUNY Broome family. We are resetting our clock, our donor counts and our goal!  ALL DAY, ALL NIGHT, ALL #BROOME24

Events will be taking place in the BCC Foundation Office, Wales Center Room 201, and the Student Center Lobby on Tuesday, Dec. 3!
