As our campus prepares to meet Title II requirements, we are here to support faculty in creating digital course content that is fully accessible to screen readers. While many of us are familiar with adding alt text to images or tagging PDFs, mathematics presents unique challenges and sometimes even simple exponents can be difficult for screen readers to interpret.
Fortunately, there’s an easier solution than creating image-based equations with alt text. EquatIO can simplify the process and ensure your mathematical content is accessible.
We invite you to join one of our upcoming workshops in the TRC Lab to explore how EquatIO works and how it can streamline your workflow. You’re welcome to bring your own laptop and we will walk you through the installation process and provide hands-on guidance.
