Kristin Hofer, Dental Hygiene Associate Professor, published an article entitled, “Oral Health Benefits of Sugar Alcohols” in the March 2023, professional journal, Dimensions of Dental Hygiene. 

The article addressed the issue of dental products containing sugar alcohols that support enamel remineralization and reduce the risk for caries and periodontal diseases.
