Civic Engagement, in collaboration with Professional Development, is honored to host John Suarez, Director of SUNY Cortland’s Institute for Civic Engagement, on Monday, January 22 from 9:30-3pm. In this day-long workshop, faculty and staff participants will learn about strategies to increase civic engagement on campus and in the classroom, focusing on the application of the principles of civic engagement, active listening, and reflection as part of a holistic, interactive, and educational experience for our students.
This is the first in a series of workshops anchored in Civic Engagement that will be offered to the campus in Spring 2024; more information about other offerings is forthcoming!
