Students have already been hard at work preparing this year’s student-produced Butcher Boxes, showcasing the skills they are developing in their Garde Manger class (CUL 218). Each box will feature student-made bacon, Italian sausage, and sweet pickles. The bacon and sausage will be frozen for use at your convenience, while the pickles should be kept refrigerated.
The Butcher Boxes will be delivered on October 1 between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. We greatly appreciate the support of our campus community, which allows students to expand production in the lab while gaining valuable experience they will bring into the workforce.
Butcher Boxes sell out every year, so if you’re considering purchasing one, don’t wait to place your order!
