Joseph Julian Presented with the 2022 Distinguished Chamber Co-Volunteers of the Year Award

On 05/12/2022, CJES Adjunct Instructor Joseph “Joe” Julian was presented with the 2022 Distinguished Chamber Co-Volunteers of the Year award by the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce (the award was also presented to Don Entwistle, Criminal Justice Instructor at BT BOCES). Joe was recognized for his continued dedication of recruiting and facilitating SUNY Broome students to volunteer at the annual Bridge Run 5K, providing traffic control and pedestrian safety at the event, in which he also volunteers.

As the lead faculty advisor for the Criminal Justice & Emergency Services Student Association, Joe is always encouraging students to be active within the community. In addition to the annual Bridge Run, Joe has actively been involved in recruiting students to volunteer in other community events, such as the Race for Justice 5K and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

SUNY Broome is lucky to have Joe as part of our family. Way to go Joe!
