Incoming Freshmen, you’re running out of time to submit an online scholarship application! Consider getting started soon! The application deadline for new students is April 18, 2025.
Hundreds of thousands of dollars are set aside for students, and there are hundreds of scholarships! Plus, it’s pretty easy. You can seamlessly apply through one online application in about an hour. The system will automatically pair you with the scholarships that you qualify for through set criteria.

Handy Tip: There are short essays in the scholarship application. If you are concerned about these essays, consider contacting the Writing Center for help polishing your work. Also, saving your essays in a Google Doc or another safe place is wise. It will ensure you have a solid starting point for future scholarship applications!
Don’t miss your chance! There are only two SUNY Broome scholarship cycles in a year. The Second Chance scholarship application begins in the fall, and this cycle, with most of our scholarships, opens again next January.
Note: All new students, including those in the Fast Forward and Early College programs, must have applied and been accepted at SUNY Broome before they can apply for scholarships.
