We are saddened to share the passing of Professor Emeritus Charles F. Petrolawicz, a retired professor of SUNY Broome Community College’s Business Department, on August 21, 2026.
Born in Endicott, he was an Air Force Veteran who served during the Vietnam War, earned a Juris Doctorate, and practiced law before focusing on teaching. After teaching at various colleges, “Dr. P” served as a faculty member at Broome for 18 years with dedication until his retirement in 2020.
We extend our sincere condolences to Professor Emeritus Petrolawicz’s family, friends, former colleagues, and students during this difficult time.
