Attention Graduates! If you are a Fall 2024 graduate or a prospective Spring/Summer 2025 graduate, here’s what you need to know to prepare for graduation and commencement. If you’re unsure about your graduation status, connect with your advisor.

Submit Your Intent to Graduate Form – Due March 15, 2025
Order Your Regalia
Regalia (cap, gown, and tassel) is required for graduates participating in Commencement. Order online through the Oak Hall ordering site by:
April 1 (ship to store)
April 30 (ship to home)
In-person purchases begin May 5 at the SUNY Broome Bookstore. Questions? Call 607-724-0696.
Commencement Day – May 22, 2025
Toast to the Tassel (10 a.m. – noon, Student Center Quad)
Celebrate with a brunch-style picnic and a sparkling juice toast at 11:30 a.m. Wear your regalia and take photos with friends and family!
Rehearsal (1 p.m., Visions Veterans Memorial Arena – Ground Level)
All graduates attending Commencement must participate in rehearsal to receive lineup instructions and their name card, which is required for the ceremony.
Commencement Ceremony (6:30 p.m., Visions Veterans Memorial Arena)
Lineup begins at 5:30 p.m., graduates must wear full regalia and have their name card to participate.
