Suny Broome Faculty Staff

SUNY Broome experienced strong growth in Fall 2025, with overall enrollment rising by nearly 16% compared to last year. The increase reflects continued interest in the College’s programs. The College has seen an incredible amount of growth in its adult learner population through the SUNY Reconnect program. These positive trends highlight SUNY Broome’s ongoing efforts to provide accessible, career-focused education for its students, poising students to gain the knowledge and skills they need to immediately enter a high-demand field.

Enrollment Highlights

Momentum continues: Headcount up 16.6% (+559), FTEs up 18% (+238) over Fall 2024. Biggest incoming class since Fall 2020: 1,200+ new first-time students (+30% vs Fall 2024).

SUNY Reconnect Enrollment Impact

Adult learner population is growing: Adult learners are now 41% of the total student body (Compared to 33% in Fall 2024). SUNY Reconnect registrations have helped increase the total adult learner population, from 319 (Fall 2024) → 765 (Fall 2025), +140%.

Total matriculated enrollment rebound: 3,337 (Fall 2024) → 3,917 (Fall 2025) students.
