Natural Science Center

While our Office of Public Safety is responsible for law enforcement, emergency response, crime prevention and more, we all play a role in keeping campus a safe and welcoming environment for our students, faculty, staff and community visitors.

To borrow a slogan from the federal Transportation Security Administration: If you see something, say something!

If you witness anything of concern, please contact Public Safety by calling (607) 778-5083 or – in case of emergency – dial 911.

We also have a dedicated group of staff and faculty who are available to assist students in distress. If you, or someone you know, is in crisis please notify the Student of Concern committee by contacting the Dean of Students at (607) 778-5681 or dos@sunybroome.edu, or click here to file a report online. You can also report incidents of sexual or interpersonal violence, stalking, harassment, or any other sex or gender discrimination here.

SUNY Broome uses the RAVE Emergency Alert system to notify campus of emergency situations and closures. RAVE alerts individual users via telephone, text message and email. To make sure your contact information is current, please go to the RAVE Alert option in MyCollege.

Thank you for helping keep SUNY Broome safe!
