Although the Health for Haiti 2020 and 2021 classes had to be cancelled, global service learning projects initiated by Health for Haiti students and staff continue to change lives in rural Haiti.
One major focus of Health for Haiti is high quality education. A new blog post highlights the story of Marckens, a former student who is now serving the community as a teacher. Marckens credits the support he received from the Health for Haiti “Helping Students” program as a big part of his success.
