It’s not an April Fool’s joke, there are

Graphic Novels

in the SUNY Broome Library!

Graphic novel display

Graphic novels aren’t just comic books, although both use (amazing) illustrations to help tell stories and communicate ideas.

The SUNY Broome Library has graphic novels that deal with academic topics (did you know there is a graphic adaptation of Charles Darwin’s “Origin of Species”?), award-winning titles that were originally written as graphic novels (like “Maus” and “Persepolis”), and adaptations of classic literature (from Anne Frank to Edgar Allan Poe).
