Dear SUNY Broome Community,
Hard to believe that my 12th year with you is ending. I hope winter break provided you an opportunity for some rest and also some fun time with your family and friends. What a fall and January it has been again…! Who thought it could get any crazier for COVID?
As for more normal business (if not the venue), I hope you are looking forward to our Spring Faculty/Staff Assembly on Zoom, Thursday the 20th. We have few occasions to gather with nearly our entire academic community, so it’s always an important occasion when we do.
This bi-annual tradition will also give me an opportunity to personally thank you for providing the excellent education for which SUNY Broome is so widely known. 2022 will be another extraordinarily challenging year for us to keep it up, but we somehow always find a way.
The day will begin at 8:45 a.m. with our traditional retrospective video, followed by an abbreviated schedule of speakers which will be shared shortly. The Zoom link will be distributed to the campus via campus-wide email.
Again, I look forward to seeing you on January 20th and best wishes in advance for a successful (but wild once again) Spring 2022 Semester.
