A group of 13 SUNY Broome students headed to SUNY Delhi on Oct. 4 to attend the 2019 Equity Summit. The event provides a forum for dialogue and reflection around fostering equity-minded students and educators.
They were accompanied by Housing Director Amy Zieziula, Student Rights & Responsibilities Coordinator Brandon Manning, EOP Director Venessa Rodriguez and instructional designer Susan Woerner.
Featured speakers included Dr. Vijay Pendakur, Dean of Students at Cornell University, and SUNY Broome alumna Lea Webb of Webb Consulting.
